Privacy policy

The short version: SPECTRE-9 is a 100% client-side simulation. It has no backend, no accounts, and no keystroke logging. This page is the full disclosure.

Last updated: October 2026

TL;DR: No personal data is collected, sold, or transmitted by the terminal itself. Your terminal session never leaves your browser.

Who we are

This website ("SPECTRE-9", "HackerFeel", "we") is a free, browser-based entertainment simulation at hackerfeel.com. For privacy inquiries contact [email protected] or see the contact page.

What the terminal does NOT do

What IS stored locally

The terminal uses your browser's localStorage for two preferences only:

This data stays on your device, is never transmitted, and can be cleared at any time via your browser's site-data settings.

Cookies & third parties

The terminal itself sets no cookies. This website uses Google Analytics (gtag.js) to count aggregate page views, which may set cookies according to Google's own policies. You can opt out with browser settings or Google's Analytics opt-out tools.

Fonts are served by Google Fonts (fonts.gstatic.com). No advertising trackers are embedded in the terminal.

Children's privacy

The site is suitable for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If the site ever gains features that change what is stored, this page will be updated before those features ship. The privacy command in the terminal prints the summary of this policy.
